Terms
Terms of Service
Last updated November 5, 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and the website, hosting, lead-management and CRM services Range provides. Range is a sole proprietorship operated by Jose Luis Martinez in Grand Junction, Colorado. A signed proposal or service agreement defines the actual work on any project, and it controls wherever it differs from this page.
Nothing on this page is an offer or a binding quote. Where a detail depends on your project, such as the pages included or the launch date, your signed agreement sets it out. Payment remittance details are provided on each invoice rather than published here.
A. Who you are dealing with
Range is a sole proprietorship owned and operated by Jose Luis Martinez, based in Grand Junction, Colorado, United States. It is not a limited liability company or corporation. You can reach the business at range@altmail.kr.
Range designs and builds websites, hosts and maintains them, and provides lead-management and CRM access for contractors and local service businesses.
B. Agreement and project scope
By using this site or engaging Range for work, you agree to these terms. A signed proposal or service agreement defines the actual work: the package selected, the pages and features included, the timeline, the fees, and any automations or integrations in scope.
Where a signed agreement conflicts with this page, the agreement controls. No work outside the agreed scope begins without your written approval, and the packages described on this website are starting points for a proposal rather than a fixed scope in themselves.
C. Fees, invoices and payment terms
Each package has a one-time setup fee covering the initial project work, and a monthly fee covering the recurring services and features listed for that package. Setup fees are one-time project charges, not a deposit against the monthly fee.
- 50% deposit before work begins. Project work starts once the deposit has been received.
- Remaining 50% before website launch. The balance is payable before the site goes live.
- Monthly service charges begin on the launch date and are due on the same calendar day each month after that.
- Invoices are due within 7 calendar days of issue unless a different period is agreed in writing.
- Overdue accounts. Where an invoice remains unpaid, Range may pause services after giving written notice. Work resumes once the outstanding balance is settled.
Invoices are issued and tracked manually by Range. This website takes no payment and no card processing is used. Accepted payment methods are ACH transfer and check, each verified manually by Range before the payment is recorded. Range does not collect or store your bank account or card details. Do not send account numbers by email.
Third-party charges are disclosed separately — domain registration, third-party software or subscriptions, and paid tools — and are either billed to you directly by the provider or itemised on your invoice.
D. Recurring service and cancellation
The monthly fee covers only what is listed for your package: hosting and basic maintenance where included, the monthly content update allowance (30, 60 or 90 minutes depending on the package), and, for Contractor Growth and Contractor Lead System, the CRM access and features described in those packages. It is not an unlimited retainer.
Recurring charges begin on the launch date stated in your signed agreement — not when you send an enquiry and not when a proposal is issued.
Either side can end the recurring service with 30 calendar days’ written notice to range@altmail.kr. Charges for the notice period apply, amounts already due remain payable, and part months are not pro-rated unless your agreement says they are.
When the subscription ends, the recurring services stop: monthly maintenance and content updates, hosting provided under the arrangement, and CRM access. Website handover is covered in section H and CRM data in section J.
E. Cancellation and refunds
Deposits are applied toward project work rather than held as a separate fund.
- If you cancel before work begins, your deposit is refunded.
- If you cancel after work has begun, Range retains only the reasonable value of the work completed and any documented, authorized, non-recoverable costs already committed to your project.
- Any unearned amount remaining after that calculation is refunded to you.
- Services already delivered are not refunded automatically. Monthly periods that have already run are not refunded simply because you cancel afterwards.
Where a refund is approved, it is returned by the same method the payment was made. Refund timing depends on the bank or payment method involved.
F. Revisions and additional work
Revision rounds and the monthly content update allowance are set out in your proposal and package. A content update means a small adjustment to text, an image swap, or a change to existing content.
New pages, redesigns, new features, custom integrations, and major structural changes are additional projects. Additional work is charged at $50 per hour unless a fixed price is agreed in writing, and it begins only after you approve it in writing.
Unused monthly update time does not roll over to another month unless that is agreed in writing.
G. Client responsibilities
- Provide accurate business information, including the services you offer and the areas you serve.
- Supply approved logos, images, content, and any credentials needed for the work.
- Have the right to use everything you supply. If you send a photo, logo or text, you are confirming you are allowed to use it.
- Review and approve deliverables at the points set out in the agreement.
- Keep employee access to your CRM accurate, including removing people who should no longer have it.
- Pay invoices by the due date, and tell Range promptly if a payment is going to be late.
If required materials or approvals arrive late, the timeline moves with them. Range will tell you when that happens rather than quietly slipping.
H. Domain and website ownership
Your domain belongs to you. Range recommends registering it in your own name, on your own registrar account. Range assists with domain configuration and DNS setup, but does not claim ownership of your domain, and never treats it as Range’s property.
You pay your own domain registration and renewal fees directly to the registrar. Those renewals are yours to keep up, and a lapsed registration is outside Range’s control.
Once your setup fee and any outstanding amounts are paid in full, you own the finished website design and the content written for it. Until then, the design and code remain Range’s.
Third-party components — typefaces, icons, plugins, libraries, hosting, and licensed software — remain subject to their own terms and licences. Not every third-party component can be transferred to another provider, because that depends on the licence.
If the service ends, Range will agree a transfer or migration arrangement with you. Transfer depends on the accounts and licences involved being transferable.
I. Hosting and third-party services
Websites are hosted on Base44, under Range’s Builder plan. Hosting is included in the monthly fee for the packages that list it, and the hosting provider’s own limits and terms apply on top of these terms.
Third-party services can experience outages, change their pricing, or change their terms. Range is not responsible for their availability, though it will help sort out anything it set up for you.
Any recurring third-party fee that applies to your project is identified before work begins, so it is never a surprise on an invoice.
J. CRM services and client data
CRM access depends on your selected package and an active subscription. It is included in Contractor Growth and Contractor Lead System, is not included in Website Launch, and is not sold separately through this website.
Each contractor owns their own CRM business records. Access is provided to authorized users of that business only, and the enquiries, contacts, notes and pipeline records in that workspace belong to that business.
Workspaces are kept separate at the organization level. One contractor’s records are never shown to another contractor, and Range does not use one client’s records to serve another.
After cancellation, you can request an export of your CRM data for 30 days following the cancellation. Remaining client CRM data is deleted within 60 days after cancellation, except information Range must keep for legitimate legal, tax, security or business record purposes.
You are responsible for maintaining accurate employee access, and for the accuracy and lawful use of the business and customer information you and your team enter into the CRM.
CRM features are being tested for security and functionality before client onboarding begins. Where a feature described in a package is not yet available when you onboard, your agreement will say so and describe what is actually being provided.
K. Automations and communications
Automated notifications, reminders and follow-up workflows depend on the configuration agreed in your agreement and on third-party delivery services. They are configured carefully, but no guarantee is made that every notification, message or reminder will be delivered or opened.
Where you send marketing communications to your own customers, you are responsible for obtaining the appropriate consent, honoring email and SMS opt-outs, and complying with the messaging laws that apply to you. Range does not send marketing on your behalf unless that is separately agreed.
L. No guaranteed business results
Range does not guarantee search rankings, traffic, leads, bookings, sales, or revenue. Results depend on factors outside its control, including your market, competition, seasonality, pricing, response times, review history, and changes made by search engines and other platforms.
Anything said about performance in conversation or on this site is an estimate or a design intention, not a commitment. The concept designs shown on this site are concepts created by Range, not client projects, and no client results, reviews or statistics are represented.
M. Liability and termination
To the extent the law allows, Range’s total liability for any claim connected with a project is limited to the fees you paid for that project, and Range is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost profits, lost business, or lost opportunities. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including fraud or wilful misconduct, or any right you have under Colorado law that cannot be waived.
Either side can end a project or the recurring service in writing. If you end a project, you pay for the work completed up to that point and for any third-party costs already committed, and Range hands over what has been paid for. If Range ends it, you will be told why in writing and accounted for fees for work not done.
Sections that by their nature survive — ownership, payment for work done, client data handling, and limits on liability — stay in effect after the project ends.
N. Taxes
Prices shown on this website and on invoices are stated before applicable taxes. Range does not automatically add sales tax to every invoice, and does not assume that any particular service is tax-exempt.
Where a tax applies to a service under the law that governs your project, it is shown as a separate line on the invoice and itemised before payment. You are responsible for any tax, levy or duty that applies to your own business.
O. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, USA, subject to any applicable legal requirements that cannot be varied by agreement. Disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and Range will always try a direct conversation first.
Changes to these terms
Range may update this page as the business changes. The version in effect when you sign your agreement, or the version referenced in your proposal, applies to your project.
